2012 Literary Desserts Party

The annual literary dessert party hosted by the MA program in Literature and MFA program in Creative Writing brought out new delicious and funny sweets and drinks named for some great works of literature – and 50 Shades of Grey. Held at MFA faculty member Rachel Louise Snyder’s home, the party brought together a large turnout of students and professors and an increasingly hard to judge dessert table. The panel of faculty judges selected two winners that stood out for taste and originality: “A Praline for Owen Meany” and “A Raisin in the Rum.”
